• Elementary First Aid
A one-day course held alternate months from September to June (Except December) - additional courses can be given by special arrangement.
This MCA approved course meets the mandatory requirements laid down in STCW95 A-VI, covering the basic principles of first aid, first response treatment of a casualty and basic life support. It is a stand alone course as well as a component of the Medical First Aid Course and the Medical Care on Board Ship (and Update) Courses.

Entry requirements:
Candidates must be 16 or more years of age.
There are no other entry requirements.
Issue of certificate:
Delegates are assessed during Practical Exercises
and via a Learning Outcomes Questionnaire
Certification Body:
Maritime and Coastguard Agency , UK
MCA reapproval October 2011 for a further 5 years.
